Key Stakeholder Meetings Planned for Early September

The BEST PMO team plans to engage with agencies over the next two months to provide updates on Program status and next steps and, importantly, to hear from agency senior leadership about key learnings from your agency’s work at home experience. Our goal is to listen and learn from you and reconfirm or revise our findings from Operation Work Group (OWG) meetings this Spring about the ways our core financials and HR/payroll systems and business processes can be improved. We will work with Points of Contact (POCs) to set up these virtual sessions to include agency senior leadership, OWG and Technical Points of Contact (TPOC) members.

We look forward to reconnecting with many of you during these sessions.

Did You Know?

31 US states replaced their legacy financials or HCM/payroll solutions in the last decade, with 19 states choosing the same solution for HCM and Finance (single solution) and 12 states choosing different/unique solutions for HCM and Finance (best of breed). The BEST Program is looking at both the single platform and best of breed software approaches to ensure that the best (!) option is selected for the Commonwealth.
